Late Round RB Targets 2026 (PPR)

Your fantasy football draft isn’t exclusively won in the early rounds. Late round picks play a crucial role in your team’s depth and might even start games for you throughout the season.

Running back especially requires a room full of depth as the talent pool dries up quickly in the early rounds.

So, without further ado, let’s jump into some late round RB targets who will pay off for your fantasy team.

Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers

ADP: 74.8

The Pittsburgh Steelers enter the season with a 42-year-old Aaron Rodgers, who frequently checked the ball down last season. Rodgers relies on his running backs he trusts for pass protection and short passes, as evidenced by the significant role Kenny Gainwell played last season.

With Gainwell gone, there is reason to believe that Warren will step into his role. Warren outperforms running mate Rico Dowdle in pass protection and excels in the pass game. In a PPR league, I view Warren as a RB2 starting-caliber player.

Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans

ADP: 76.8

Tony Pollard quietly eclipsed 1,000 rush yards in a dreadful Titans offense last year, including an impressive 3-game stretch of 161, 104 and 102 rush yards against solidified defenses, the Browns, the 49ers and the Chiefs.

Looking at the tape, Pollard still flashes elusive 3-down ability with breakaway speed and upside in the passing game. In an improved Titans offense with new receivers and offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, Pollard is a bargain at his ADP.

Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers

ADP: 87.4

Jonathan Brooks returns from an injury-riddled start to his career and now threatens the bell-cow ability of Chuba Hubbard. Yet, Hubbard remains on top of the depth chart, and holds an important leadership role in the locker room

Hubbard is highly underrated as a player. He runs with violence, has a solid athletic profile, strong and built, and has what it takes to withstand the grind of the NFL season. I am buying Hubbard at his price.

J.K. Dobbins, Denver Broncos

ADP: 93.2

Still just 27 years old, J.K. Dobbins sits atop the Broncos depth chart, an offense we expect explosion from. Dobbins had an impressive season last year, averaging 5.0 yards per carry for a total of 772 rush yards. He will be an integral component of the Broncos offense, and I expect similar production from him in spite of the backfield competition.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Washington Commanders

ADP: 111.6

A powerful athlete, Croskey-Merritt runs with tenacity and elusiveness, gaining a total of 805 rush yards with 8 touchdowns last year on a solid 4.6 yards per carry. The Commanders list Croskey-Merritt as their RB1 and will rely on him for production in-between the tackles as well as in the red zone.
